I have an overall GPA of 2.25, my program GPA is a 3.15...i got a D in my human anatomy lecture but re-took it with an A. I have yet to take the teas. However the requirements at GPC are....min. 2.0 overall GPA, 2.7 in program GPA 2.7 in biology. However i was previously studying in business administrations so i have around 5 W'S and have failed only one class. What are my chances of getting accepted? Has anyone gotten accepted with similar scores/ similar circumstances?

So once again, overall GPA: 2.25 (2.3 with this upcoming A)

Program GPA: 3.15 (with only one re-taken course )

Bio GPA:3.5 (I'm also not sure if the previous D in A&P will be included in the calculations...)

requirements:

Overall GPA: min. 2.0

Program GPA 2.7

Bio GPA:2.7

Specializes in NICU.

I think it probably has more to do with your teas too, I agree with ATL though I would definitely call and ask, you never know. I have heard of people getting acceptance letters after calling, if not at least you'll have answers as to why. Your GPA is awesome though so you should definitely reapply! did you apply at any other schools?

Last year CTC had my TEAs score wrong in their system and I had to call them about it. Never hurts to try.

I just got my acceptance letter too! soooooooo happpyyyyyyy!!!!

Congratulations!

Yay for you!

This may be a silly question- I know GPC has a few campuses that offer nursing. Do they assign you to one?

I totally agree but at least we have options now. :-) let me know if you hear anything from CSU.

I will and please do the same!! do you have a prior degree? @stephanie

Nursing school is at Clarkston campus. Simulation labs are done at Dunwoody campus but thats not a weekly thing. does anyone know when orientation is? congrats to everyone who has been accepted.

HI guys,

I just rejected letter today, sad and confused . I have overall GPA 3.75, and program GPA 3.9. I have no repeat courrse. All science course i got A. My TEAS is 58 for the first time and 69 for the second time- 80 for math portion and 78 for reading portion. HOWEVER, i am transfer student and taking general course at other college currently. I think the denial comes from that i am a transfer student. Just let yours guys who are transfer students know this fact.

You have an awesome GPA so dont be too hard on yourself. i do know from attending their info session that they much prefer a student to take the TEAS ONCE. therefore had you scored the 69 on ur first try, i think you would have definitely gotten in.

I don't. Hoping this will be my first :)

That's going to be a fun drive. Oh well.

I'm assuming once they receive our acceptance letters we will receive more info on orientation etc. Just watch your email. I did see where our uniform tops are $37 each. Better start saving now. ??
