What's a clinical class. Does that mean you will be working in the hospital or other type of care facility? Has your school given an orientation to talk about the dress code? What kind of book(s) do you have for the class?

its actully physical exsamination and we have to wear a dark blue pants and the lab coat, just the phsical exsaminatin book i think (sorry if icalled it clinical im a new nursing student:D is it wrong?)

You could probably find a ton of information on-line regarding head-to-toe assessments. Check youtube videos and different checklists. Are you going to be practicing on one another?

Your instructors should tell you what to wear and what to bring. One thing I always found helpful, though, was to have a "clinical bag," which had all my clinical stuff in it...stethoscope, scissors, lab cheat sheets, etc. That way I didn't have to scramble and look for it every time; I'd just grab it and go. :)

Clinical is what the actually being in a hospital with your clinical instructor and performing various nursing functions as a student is called.

You want to know what the health assessment class is like. Basically you'll learn how to assess the various organ systems, learn the terminology, and sort of get into which assessment findings correlate to which diseases possibly. It's unfortunate that your health assessment class doesn't coincide with your clinical. It's unlikely that any of your classmates will have S3 or S4 heart sounds, edema, crackles or ronchi ect as they will all likely be healthy individuals. Maybe a few hypertensives, but . . .
