  1. question 1: if the 10000 U of heparin is in 1 ml then the 25000 would be in 2.5 ml each 10000 is in 1 ml and the 5000 in the 25000 gets 0.5 ml so add them 1+1+5=2.5 ..... 2.5 ml is the answer . question 2: the concentration of heparin/ the cc in the bag =25000/500= 50 U/cc question 3 : units of heparin/24 hrs = 25000/24= 1042 U/hr question 4 : 1042 u/hr +200 u/hr =1242 1042 U/hr >>>>9 cc/hr 1242 U/hr>>>>> X = 1242*9/1042= 10cc/hr

Hi i have a female 54 patient of mysthenia gravis diagnosed since 5 years, she used to have general weakness but now and because of medication she has muscle weakness in the right leg(have difficulty in activity of daily living) and right eye deviation (diaplopia) she has gained 10 kg cause of predisolone and she is upset from her weight (she is on regular diet),what do you think of the following pt education : -putting a patch on one eye then change it to the other eye alternatively to decrease diaplopia -do some range of motion exercises at home to help in wt loss ,increase fiber in the diet and connect to her physician for a low fat diet - the pt asked me that if predisolone cause hyper tension so i thought to give her some of the side effects of predisolone including the hypertension. look for your opinions and suggestions...

  10. hello i want to continue medicine from nursing (taken from outside the usa) ,iwant to make sure that this program is present and if, i don't know which school to pick in the usa with a fee that goes with salary of a new grad rn, iam planning to work while i study but as i read above in the instructions about international students its not possible...is it really true? any suggestions..advices.. thanks. :heartbeat

    well.. iam thinking to continue medicine ... actually the story is that in my country the system in admitting the medicine schools is different from the US and im thinking when i continue nursing in my country i go to the US and study medicine ...its complicated ..so help ...thanks..

    hi every one ... i know that this has been asked a couple of times ..am a nursing student and i want to continue in medical school but when i read past threads about this subject i felt that this is hard cause of the pre- req exam and studying biology and chemistry....and also it costs alot,so am confused continuing in nursing degrees or medicine ????: crying2 : thanks: redbeathe
