I'm in my 3rd quarter of my ADN RN program and am just curious as to what marks other students here have to have to pass.

I have to get a 78% or above on my all exams to be considered passing....we lost about 5 people over the last 2 quarters too. Yikes! :uhoh21:

78% for me too.

>75% at my school is considered passing.

>70% in theory

and satisfactory in clinical

Also they give us competencies test once in a while. Some of the ones I did last semester were all the injections, IV competencies like IVPC, changing tubing, DCin IV's. My program also makes us take ATI testing that you have to pass or else you are out of the program. Because of all of this we lost 20 of our 80 students during the first semester.

At our school a 76 is passing. We also have to pass a Final Skills test get three tries or we are out, get a satisfactory in clinical, and pass math exam about medications. Last semester we lost 12. Last semester one boy had a 75.3 and they failed him. This semster we lost a few.

82% average for the entire class

82% average for tests (you can pass the class...but if your test average isn't 82% you'll get kicked out)

100% average for drug calculations

82% for medical terms

S/U for clinicals

75%

And you must pass the drug calculations test with a 97%

A 75% is passing, which is why after every smester we always lost sometimes a lot of people they would fail out with a 74.99.....yikes.

76% average on tests, doesn't matter how good your other grades are, fail the exams, fail the class.

76% for all classes

90% for math tests

90% accuracy in clinical skills or you fail the course (no matter what your theory grade is)

:) Here we have to have at least a 75 on all exams, if you flunk the test then you get one retake (if you get a 100 on the retake it only goes in the books as a 75) if you flunk the retake you are gone right then that day. We have to have a 100 on the math portion too. At the beginning of next semester we will have to start taking basic skills competency exams also. Just tons of fun isn't it everybody:chuckle .

At my school, a 74% on theory tests is needed to pass, along with a satisfactory grade in clinical and a 100% score on the math test. If you miss 1 or 2 questions on the math test, you have to correct it to 100% right on the spot. Each class also has their own specifics throughout the program, like a certain grade on research papers, class presentations etc.
