I'm in an integrated program, so our class titles aren't very interesting. Basically I'm taking level 2 lecture, level 2 lab, and of course clinical.

Specializes in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Semesters 2-4 I take Nursing Concepts 1-6. Even more interesting course titles.

Going into third out of four semesters (BSN):

Mental Health Lecture and Clinical (5 credits)

Child Health Lecture and Clinical (5 credits)

Adult Health II Lecture and Clinical (5 credits)

Specializes in Oncology/hematology.
You scare me, haha. I have to take A&P II and Nursing Fundamentals. I wish I wouldn't have to though. Why "after the semester from hell" ? How many credits did you take?

I took 9 credit hours of foundations of nursing, along with 2 honors contracts. I just wasn't prepared for how much extra work nursing school took. Now I know and just really don't know if I'll be able to handle it with the micro class. But, don't worry, my experience isn't yours. You could be just fine. Good luck!

Wow. They're really breaking down creative boundaries there....

Yea, but I kind of like it. Our clinicals will be rotations and we get to go EVERYWHERE. OR, ICU, ER, Peds ER, and lots of other places that most students say that they don't see during nursing school. My school is part of a hospital system, has a very large nursing program compared to the rest of the school (admits 150 students per semester), and gets first dibs on clinical spots over the other nursing schools in the area.

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Fundamentals II (3 credits)

Patho II (3 credits)

Pharm (3 credits)

MedSurg/Psych (4 credits)

Peds/Mother-Baby (4 credits)

This semester is referred to as "suicide semester". Looking forward to that *note my sarcasm*. In actuality, and this may bite me in the butt, there are plenty of people who've made it through this next semester without any major problems so I'm not too worried about it. Stressed with a never ending load of assignments and tests, yes, but that's nursing school.

This is my 2nd semester. I am taking

Pre-Pharm (Jan term)

Mother/Baby

Peds

Med Surg I

Pharmacology

Specializes in ED.
