waiting until the last minute...

.. just wondering why I'm waiting until the last minute to BUY shoes.. Anyone else like this?, just that thrill of rushing out to get that last item, like Christmas time..lol

Maybe because they are the first pair of nursing shoes so they are special, I don't know, anyone go thru this their first time or am I too picky and procrastinating.

comfy shoes was the first thing i bought. walked around shoe carnival for 3 hours trying on shoes and wearing them in the store for a bit before deciding which i wanted. went through 8 pair, found 2 that i liked, bought 'em and brought 'em home.

now???????

i don't like them :D thinking of going with new balance or nike airwalkers next.

NOW GO GET THOSE SHOES!!!!! :D:D:D

I have flat feet and actually had a nurse with flat feet tell me that new balance were the best for her feet.....I like them, but everyone is different.....good luck

Robin, I've heard those are really nice shoes !! New balance.. I just don't care for tennis shoes.. remember I'm picky..lol. Seriously I do like clogs.. I wear clogs most of the time! :)

HELP! I understand that New Balance is a brand name, but are they tennis shoes or "nursing" shoes? Our requirement states "white leather uniform shoes - enclosed toes and heels".

Does this include tennis shoes? I am so clueless (or should I say shoeless?)!

I used to be a runner back in my high school/college (the first time around) days and I always liked New Balance. My stepdad was a track coach and he always highly recommended them for runners. Now I don't know how that translates to nursing students but I'm seriously considering it. I like the idea of nursing clogs too. Maybe I'll try both. What kind of clogs do you wear, Marie?

Vsummer1.. I would check.. Our guide also said white leather.. But they do allow tennis shoes as long as they are all white.. I have a VERY comfortable pair of white Nikes that they allow.. The nike symbol is grey but they said it was fine..
