uhhhh! Nursing school vent

I applied to nursing school and would have been accepted except they said my GPA was.02 points too low. I have redpne my GPA several times, and asked other people t do it for me also and everyone has gotten an 08th of a point over the minimum GPA. I am so stressed about this because I had arranged to move an hour and a half away to this school- JF Drake. I also had 2 grade changes after Fall 05 semester, therefore I thought these where affecting my entrance, but apparenty they where changed before my transcripts where mailed to Drake. Drake's registers office is being so unccooperative and tell me to call UNA(old college), UNA wont give me my old GPA unless I order a transcript. I am SO frusterated. I wish I knew where they where getting there numbers. Maybe prereques??

Every class you have taken at the college will be used to figure your GPA even if they are not prereq. for nursing school. Maybe it is something like that. Sorry to hear you are having troubles and good luck.

At one school I applied at ONLY the classes that applied to Nursing were used to figure my GPA and if I had retaken a class then the higher grade is the only one they used. At another school I applied at they used all classes and also counted both attempts at a class. They said my having took English Comp twice to get an A didn't help me that I could have taken basketweaving and gotten an A and it would have been the same. You need to check with the school to find out how they figure your GPA.
