Shoes for nursing school?

What kind of shoes would you suggest for nursing school clinicals? Our requirements are that they have to be white, rubber sole, and leather-like outside.

Sneakers, clogger type shoes or Doc. Martens.

Google "Nike Air Max all white" and you'll get tons of hits. We had the same shoe requirements, many chose the Air Max.

Techinically the requirements say no tennis shoes and no clogs...... which doesnt leave a lot of options. I dont know how strict they are on that though

My favorite nursing shoes are the Dansko XP and also the Nurse Mates "Dove."

Altras..they are the best shoes out there but they won't work because they aren't all white.

I agree with that Shanimal. I would contact the school to clarify just to be sure before buying another. But, I'm sure when they say no clogs, they mean no open backs or sling back clogs. Otherwise, no clogs and no tennis shoes - I have no idea what would be left!!

I got Pumas. The style is called "Vikky". They're plain, white, leather lace-up shoes with no "breathing holes" for bodily fluids to leak into. They did the job for me, and they were comfy enough for 8 hour clinical shifts in my first semester.
