Full time wife & mom part time student (not enough time in a day but I try)

37 years old

Married to a great guy

4 boys (6,5,4,2)

Got my BS in 1987

I think I would like to work in our new Women's and Babies Hospital or Geriatrics...

I should have done this in college the first time but my dad (an MD) talked me out of it and now is my biggest supporter (go figure:rolleyes: )

I am in a 2 year part time evening program which is great but it may say it is a "part time" program but we have to put in "full time" work :)

Ideal nursing position? I don't know yet

Why you chose nursing? I have always wanted to be a nurse and will finish pre-reqs this semester. I am applying to start Nursing one in the spring.....

ideal nursing position...right now i like to think that it will be in some form of emergency care...flight nurse, er

or o.r. (not ortho though - can't stomach that...if you are in the o.r. do you have to be willing to participate in all types of surg? really don't think i can handle the drills and hammers and whatnot)

why i chose nursing? i keep asking myself that right now (kidding -cause school is such a pain in the a$$) i guess i'm w/ the others...i was called

i'm a junior in a bsn program

ideal nursing position? working in nicu or pediatrics.....

why you chose nursing? let's say it was a spritual enlightment as well as originally i went to school to become a nurse... dropped out when i was 19, now that i'm older, i'm a better student, more mature, ready for the career change..

and anything else you want to share: nah, aside from the fact that i freaking out this semester!

Ideal nursing position? neonatal or chemotherapy administration

Why you chose nursing? My grandmother, who is a nurse, says it's in my blood. ;) I say it's a way of being, a certain personality that just has to help.

I am a Full time student, Full time mom & wife,

Work part time ( weekends and Thursday's)

I would love to work in the women's and children's center ( when it is built) Currently work in PCU Unit ( Cardiac care, fresh open hearts, Cabg etc..)

Married for 12 years, 4 kids 2 girls 12,10

2 boys 9,6 plus a German Shephard.

School I am taking AP 1, Inorganic/oganic bio chemistry, Psychology, & Written Comm 2.

I have always loved workng as an aid. This is just the next step. I love my job. Meeting great people.

i feel nursing is a calling for me. when i was a young child, i almost lost my life. i had been trying for years to find out why god had saved me...what was my life supposed to be used for other than his work. then late one night i was watching a show about st. jude's...it was like a chill went through my entire body and realized this is what god had saved me for.

only 17 more months until graduation!!!!

Part time this semester. Recently graduated LPN.

Do you work and go to school?

Yes. School on Mon. -Thurs. 2 1/2 hours and two internet classes.

14 credit hours. Work between 84 and 96 hours a pay period.

Age?

39. Will be 40 in December.

Single or Married?

Married.

crabs. Would like to have ferrets again when we have a

bigger house.
