Palm Operating System has much more medical software, especially the free stuff! :) PalmOne Tungsten E would be a good choice -- it has lots of memory and a beautiful, easy to read color screen.

I have a Palm IIIc and it works great and there are tones of downloads... just go to a search engine and type in medical freeware and you'll find a lot of great stuff.

Look at the sticky thread at the top of the General Nursing Discussion. There are a lot of different features, and people give the pros/cons of each. I'm in the market for one now also.
I don't understand.

check out the new axim X30, it is the fastest one on the market. I suggest buying a newer model, because most of those old ones are going to be obsolete. I'am a tech geek, so maybe i'm biased. Check out this review http://www.aximsite.com/x30review/ lots of new features and a blazin fast processor.
Go to the top of the "General Nursing" discussion on this site. At the top of all of the threads, is a "sticky" thread (one that doesn't get bumped down), that is specifically about PDA's. There are a lot of old posts in the thread, but the most current 3 or 4 pages of it are helpful, from people that have PDA's.

There is this "sticky" at the top of the menu selection. FYI: a sticky is a thread that sticks or stays at the top for the benefit of the membership. This is what is says:
Sticky: Looking To Buy A Pda ( 1 2 3 4 5 ... Last Page )
--- I hope that helps you....
It may be helpful to ask questions of site navigation as you go along in your learning of AllNurses. Perhaps, this Forum is a good place to sift through and seek additional help, among many here at AllNurses.

Palm Tungsten E is a great deal if you don't have tons of $ to spend.
Thanks for all your help!
