It still hasn't hit me yet...just had two more finals this evening but in Nursing I got a B (including clinical), Nutrition B, Psychology A, Drug Dosage B and Anatomy B-. I can't believe it about Anatomy. I struggled with that one the whole semester...took the final tonight which was very tough and passed both the lab portion and the lecture. Not bad for a 50-year old brain, huh??? And this was an extremely heavy workload. I thought Anatomy would kill me!!!!! arrrrggghhh

Now I can relax.....sleep....sleep.....relax...and sleep some more and ready myself for next semester. I still can't believe it!

CONGRATS!!!!!! feels so good to be done!

Specializes in LTC, ER, ICU,.

suzy, congratulations!

Specializes in Adult Med-Surg, Rehab, and Ambulatory Care.

Congo rats! Enjoy the break! :)

Awesome!! I passed nursing with a B+! I'm so happy :D

I just got home from my anatomy final though, that was HORRIBLE. She never even mentioned half of that stuff in class, which is why she is not being re-hired next semester... But anyway, I had an average in there in the high 80s, and I'm afraid this final will bring that way down. I'm HOPING for a grade in the 70s for that test, that's how bad it was. Ugh. I just hope I don't blow it, we need a 73 to pass the class.. Now I'll be worried for days...

But on a better note, I passed math with an A+ and psychology with a 100%!

congrats on getting through your first semester. Don't be down on yourself for a B- in anatomy you had a lot of classes to handle.

I had nursing 100, anatomy, and health concepts this semester(my first also). I squeaked by with all A's but it was very hard.

Just remember, once you have that degree no one is going to ask if you got an A or B in your classes!!!

Congradulations. That is great. I graduate LPN this week with a 3.5 an a scale of 4.0! A lot of people have given me a hard a time because I worry about my grades so much. I respond to them with: would you want a nurse that only learned what was required to pass or one that learned all she possibly could to take care of you? For example when it is a life threatening situation the few minutes it takes to look something up can make the difference between life and death.

AMEN MY FRIEND!!!! Some people in our class have really bad attitudes toward those of us who make A's that I quit telling those other than my friends what I made on tests. But I definitely agree with this above statement!!!

I think that may be because of the old concept that no one is really going to care what a person's GPA was or what kind of grades anyone received in nursing school....well, as long as they passed. I think it's like anything in life....Grades don't matter as much as the action itself. I find I'm under a lot less pressure if I stick by the C=RN shout-out. To me, that's worth any A or B...I just want to pass, to succeed, to graduate as a nurse so I can get out there, and hone my skills by the action of doing.

Yes, the GPA doesn't matter when it comes to getting a job. I just want to know I did the best I can and pushing myself is the way to do that.

Also, at my school a B=RN. If we get a C we get to go home and not come back!! So that makes me try a little harder too!
