Evening everyone!
I'm a pre-nursing student, but I figured this question is for you guys.
I got a packet in the mail today about the Nurse's Book Society; basically a book club for nurses. What I want to know is, has anyone joined? Is it worth it?
I love to read, and the deal seems pretty good. You get 4 books for $9.99 to start and you only have to buy 3 more books in 2 years. The books are Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology (I'm taking Anatomy this Fall), the 2006 Lippincott's Nursing Drug Guide, Delmer's Heart & Lung Sounds CD and Chicken Soup for the Nurse's Soul.
Thoughts anyone?

Hi Laura,
I thought about joining, but once I got my required book list from school, I saw the book club had none of the books I needed for my classes. Personally, I would recommend saving your money for the BIG cost of nursing textbooks you will have to buy once you start nursing school

Definitely save your money.............your school may use a completely different list and then you will be stuck............

I agree. Unless you get ahold of your school's list and they happend to have them :)
which reminds me....note to self: call school & see if they have senior level book list available yet.
