Nervous And Excited

Nursing Students General Students

Tomorrow I start my OB ROTATION for 3 weeks. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. :) I know when something bad happens it happens VERY, VERY quickly in labor/delivery, postpartum and in the nursery. I have been looking forward to this rotation all semester and now that we had orientation to the unit today I am all so nervous and excited. We will have 1 week Labor/delivery, 1 week postpartum, 1 week nursery, so that is the way it is suppose to go. The instructor, she said you never know.

ALSO I WANTED To share one other thing. I had my fourth test of the semester today in my nursing health managment class. Now this is the class I had a C in at mid-term and my other 4 classes I had A's. WELL GUESS WHAT on the test today I got an A. I am so excited on that. Now, I have the HESI coming up on the 19th and I am so scared about that. We have to get at least an 85%. If we don't get an 85% then we will get 0 points if we get 85% or greater then we will get 25 points. It is 100 questions, and I am so scared about that.

Well, anyway have to go and finish preparing now

Take care

CONGRATULATIONS, TONYA! YOU ARE DOING FANTASTIC! ONE MORE YEAR TO GO, AND YOU CAN CELEBRATE YOUR GRADUATION! HANG IN THERE, AND STAY STRONG! (((HUGS))) and :kisses

Congrats on the "A"!!! Have a great time in OB, I can't wait until I get there!

I can't wait to do my OB rotation, it won't be until the fall. I get all emotional at the sight of a new life coming into this world, I am just hoping I don't cry throughout the rotation!

Congrats on your A! Try not to stress on your other tests, most of the time I have found that the tests I really stress about aren't all that bad once I take them. (It's when I think I know it all that I end up having problems! LOL) Good luck!

BTW, are you graduating in May of 2003? That is when I will graduate. :)

I am so excited for you. I want to be an OB nurse and cannot imagine how excited I would be if I were you! Keep us posted as to how it goes :)
