I interviewed yesterday for a slot in critical care school and found out last night I was accepted! I'm so excited, can't wait to finish this semester so I can go back to a classroom for 12 weeks :uhoh3: Anyway, it is what I wanted so I'm thrilled!

NICU, night 7p-7a. Knowing I'm going there is what will get me through the next 7 weeks of school. I have been an extern in this unit for 1 1/2 yrs. Woohoo..

It sounds like Maolin and I have much in common. I too will be working in a mixed MICU/SICU with alot of cardiac. I have a 16 week orientation on days, then I move to nights. I am SOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! excited!

OR, thank goodness! two slots for open new grads and I got one. No weekends for 6 months (after... on call 1 weekend a month) M-F 6:30-3:00 LOVE IT!!!!

Tele/post-transplant. Not sure whether it'll be days or nights though. Working there as a tech now to get acclimated. Seems like a great floor so far :)

Cardiac/tele post-surgical floor, 7a-7pm. Hooray for days!!!
