How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Care to share?

My name's Leslie, and I'm a student. (hi Leslie) :chuckle

i thought we would use this one so the "older" posters wouldn't have to keep introducing ourselves and sometimes "new introduction" posts do not get seen. thanks, everyone!

:specs: Hi....My name is Karen. I have been married for almost 14 years and I have five children: 12, boy; 11, boy; 8, girl; 5, boy; and last but not least my baby girl, 2 next month.

I have been a student on and off for most of our marriage. Three quarters of the way through a secondary education degree emphasizing in spanish...but I went and kept having kids and loving the hospital...

SO here I am in the ADN program which I will complete in May 2004.;)

Won't it be fun to talk to each other at the end of all these struggles and know that we succeeded?!

Good luck everyone!:kiss
