How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

hi, my name is mandi. my last day of nursing school is this coming monday where i will have finished an 18month ADN program, so i suppose i am an "old" student, lol. i graduate on dec.3, and will work on the med/surg floor that i currently work on as a nursing assistant.

my name is amy, i'm a proud mother of 2 boys ages 7 & 8. i'm just finishing my first term in a lpn program. i will graduate oct. 2007. i plan to go on and get my rn when i'm done with this program. man i didn't know how much work this was going to be, but i'm loving every minute of it.

I am 43 and getting ready to start ADN clinicals next quarter. My husb. and I have four kids between us and are expecting our tenth grandchild in March. Our son is in Saudie Arabia with the Navy. I am totally thrilled to be starting clinicals! Good luck to everyone! We can do this if we really want it bad enough! :)
