*slap* snap out of it! :chuckle

I know how you feel though! I'm also 26 and I start school on Monday as well. Just take a few deep breaths and remember why you are doing this! Remember why you left that job. You can do it! Everyone gets butterflies right before starting school. Good luck!

Good luck to both of you!

I don't start until the 20th of Sept, but I've got cold feet too!!:uhoh3:

Yeppers...me too! I go from being terrified and not wanting Monday to come to being terrified and wanting it here and over with alreadY! LOL! I'm 31, BTW so not too far off your age!

I was in your position almost 3 years ago! It has been a long time since I have seen a paycheck! Now I am going to be graduating with my BSN in December! I do not know who is happier...me or my husband! The time will fly by because you will be so busy! Good Luck and you will succeed! You have made the right decision on so many levels!

Congratulations to all of you. You all will do great....just listen, and have fun.

Can I join your moment of panic? I start monday too & for the last few days I have been totally freaking out about it! Maybe the fact that I turned 30 today helped with the freak out factor a little.

I'm hoping that it's just the anticipation. Hopefully once I get there & things start I'll calm down about things.

Good luck!

I feel your panic! It is a little unsettling to think about giving up full time work (& income:crying2:) for school. ...and then you think about what you are going to be doing in school and what you will have when you graduate ....then you start to think about all the work while you are in school :uhoh21: omigod...PANIC! I have two weeks till I start & I'm a 27 year old career changer so I know!

:p Too cool! You're starting a new chapter of your life!

I was 27 when I went back to school. I'm 31 now and will graduate in December. Its as hard as everyone says and its easier than everyone says. When you start and see everything, you'll know what I mean. Time is the hardest variable.

I used to work at a managed care company when I was thinking of returning to school. I almost chickened out and complained I would be 31 when I graduate (seemed so far) when a nurse told me "You're gonna be 31 no matter what. Do you still want to be in this job you don't love or accomplish something great and be a nurse then?"

Shook all the dust off my thinking cells.

Good luck and you will do GREAT! :)
