Hi I am so excited, I registered for school today and start Wedensday. I also got my books today and they weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be. They were only $370.00 which is enough but I thought it was going to be at least $500.00. Well Starting Wedensday I will barely be around but I will come and keep everyone up to date on my progress.

Rolling backpacks ROCK! I got mine when I was pregnant, and just couldn't haul around that thousand pounds of books. I must admit though, I felt like kind of a nerd, but I thought to myself, "Hey, I'm pregnant here! People will understand." Now that I'm not pregnant anymore, I still use it, and I love it even though I still feel like a nerd. I think I paid about $20 for mine, but I've seen them for much more. I think they're a great investment.

My books were pretty cheap this semester. We have textbook rental at our school, which is a fee that is part of your tuition. One of my class' books were there. Very few of our nursing books come that way (through textbook rental I mean), so that was nice. All I had to buy was one textbook and one study guide, but I also bought a psych careplan book, and a review book for psych nursing. All told, I think I paid only around $120, which is far less than I've had to spend in past semesters.

I think I will get a rolling backpack. To be honest, I always looked at those few people at school with the rollers and thought: sheesh. How lazy is that? Can't even pick up a couple of books? But now.... now I understand. It was all I could do to carry half of them to my truck only 100 feet away, much less lug all of them on my back up and down a couple of flights of stairs.

Although I have an LL Bean pack that I love.... I hate to stop using that. I wonder if LL Bean makes the rollers?

I have not been posting for a long time because I do not have my computer where I am now in Tampa. By the way! This is agidae. I just got registered yesterday as a freshman but I can hardly find a class that is open so I will be taking Prep English, Psychology and College maths for this semester. I Will be changing my name to Agidae.... soon so please stay tuned.
