Help! Can they take my acceptance back?

MTH 120 is a requirement for the RN school I applied for, but I have 2 other math classes beyond this (although not the actual 120).

I got my acceptance! But I called to make sure I didn't have to take this math prereq. The receptionist said she wasn't sure, but maybe they accepted my other math classes. She said they will call next week.

Now I'm worried I shouldn't have said anything, but I didn't want it to be an issue later! If I have an acceptance, can they take it back if THEY overlooked something? I have MTH 200 and MTH 150, so I'm hoping they just accepted this in lieu of MTH 120.

Anyone run into something like this? My husband says there's no way they would overlook something like that and I need to calm down....he thinks they look at admissions stuff very carefully and I wouldn't be accepted if they hadn't waived the requirement.

I got accepted into a really good program a couple of years back, and I was happy and already making plans. Then I received an email asking me if I had completed 4 courses that you needed in order to start. They sent this email mid summer therefore there was no way I could complete those courses. It's my fault for not looking at their prerequisites before applying but also, how can they accept people without the prerequisites in first place. But if you have higher math than required then it may not be an issue! Good luck and keep us posted

Typically the requirements are worded like "Complete Math XXXX or higher." Many colleges actually have rules that if you complete a higher level course you are ineligible to earn credit for taking the lower level course. Say you take and complete calculus, you would not be allowed to take pre-calculus for college credit.
