I've got the comprehensive HESI first thing tomorrow morning, which I need to pass in order to graduate and take the NCLEX this year. Have studied hard for 2 months for this thing, and it's gonna be a blow to my pride if I don't pass. Wish me luck! I hope that everyone has a great week :)

Good Luck. :nurse:

Good luck! It sounds as if you are well-prepared. The Hesi may seem like an intimidating monster considering schools put so much weight on this one test, but you know this material. Remember the rules of delegation and your ABCs and relax.

Good luck!!!! Try and rest as much as you can tonight. My patho teacher said we should eat good carbs as much as we can the night before a test, for brain power. :)

I'm interested to know as much details as you can give tomorrow, because I will be taking the test at the end of this month.

Good luck, have faith, and relax.

I am right behind you, taking it in four weeks.

GOOD LUCK! I'm sure you'll do fine. My test taking rule is take deep breaths, pace yourself, and consider each answer carefully. Be sure you actually READ the question (I'm careful to do that because NOT doing that gets me into trouble).

Let us know how it went.

Thanks to all who responded :) I'll be glad to give all the details possible once this test is over!

Well it's over! I won't know if I passed until the actual reports are distributed on Friday apparently. I know that the number of questions that I missed would translate into a mid-B in non-HESI world, but I don't know the weights or the pilot questions. I DO know that it felt easier than the HESI practice CD :)

let us know how you did b/c I just bought the book and cd and I would like to know if it helped or not. Good luck and I hope you did well

I just took it (passed, over 1000)...I had the book/cd for about two weeks, so I didn't study that much. Here's a tip...look up every answer to the questions on the CD and read EVERYTHING around it. I noticed many similar questions, but NO identical ones.

Good luck!

I passed! Got a 1069, with a conversion score of 96%. I really did poorly on the HESI practice tests on the CD before using the Saunders book, chapter reviews and CD. For those that are looking for ways to study for it, I think that going through the Saunders and doing all of the practice questions (and reading the rationales) may be the way to go :)

Congrats! on passing I dread it soooo badly! I take my exit Hesi on April 7th, thanks for the tips! I have the study guide & CD from Hesi & am doing Saunders as well. Hope it works for me!!!!

BTW how much study time do ya'll suggest????
