Any input from anyone on choice of schools for DNP? Grand Canyon is my Alma Mater but I like Chamberlain's set up. Any advice from grads of either program?

Well, since there is no independent (from the schools) published from reputable sources information on these programs, it seems to me one for-profit DNP diploma may be as good as the other DNP for-profit diploma.

But frankly, I can't get over the feeling that someone, just someone, is not making their recruiting quota as outlined in the matrix this week.

Not a grad. But my general advice would be...go to a real school. Online looks enticing, a short-cut, easy, and easier to get admitted to, so attractive to a certain subset of people.

However.

Online for-profit "degrees" are often not worth the electrons they come from. Future employers do know the difference.

Grand Canyon University is a real school on campus and online. You can do either. Some nurses have to work to support family and do not have the time to attend classes on a physical campus. I obtained my BSN from GCU and plan to do my DNP there. I would like to add that it was one of the hardest programs I have completed. It was harder than my AASN or MSN.

While I'm not a huge fan of GCU (I'm a former student) it is a real school with a rapidly expanding campus in AZ.

OP, if you've previously attended GCU, I would just stick with what you know and go there.
