Dilaudid drug test only???

I stupidly forgot to scan a patient that I gave IV Dilaudid to. The other day I had to do a urine test. I see on the Labcorp form, under "test(s) requested by employer" the only thing checked is

Dilaudid/Morp/COD/Hydrocodone/Vicodin. Does this mean they are only going to test for those drugs? They don't test for anything else like marijuana? Seems there are now different lab test forms for specific drugs to test.

they're testing you for possible drug diversion

so only testing me for Dilaudid and that's all?

The reason why I am asking is because I have come across two nurses that have tested positive for marijuana when the medicine involved was Percocet. There is a specific test for Percocet I wonder why they were tested for marijuana?

There are tons of different drug tests, and the employer determines which one they want. It can be less expensive for them to do one selective test, rather than a panel.

ok, that's what I figured. Thank you so much.

Well...

Depending on the form and the lab, it could be that the hydromorphone is an add-on to a standard panel.

Unless there's specifically a box for marijuana and it is not checked, I'd not feel entirely secure that they won't be screening for it.

Fortunately, the nation's attitude toward marijuana is becoming more rational and it may be that they're not concerned about it.
