I have a couple of good friends in school that I would like to buy a little something for during Christmas...
What would students want? I want to get something "nurse" related, and maybe a little gift bag of cookies or something else..
What do you all think? Any suggestions?

I think its a great idea to get something for your close friends :)
Good Pens, a pair of bandage sissors, etc
Depending on what you want to spend you can come up with some great ideas.
Another idea would be to get an organizer/planner, or maybe a clipboard with caculator for while at work/clinical. (i love the ones that open up so you can hold things in them)
Good luck :) I tried to think of a few things..but i think my brain is mush after work tonight!

Dear Santa,
This year I would like any "Made Incredibly Easy" book from Amazon(dot)com. They have every one available and most of them are at a really low cost ($10-$20).
Thank You!
Lisa
This is what I am begging for this year!

YOu can come up with some really cute nursing related items on ebay. Just search "nurse" or "nursing". For my friend's recent birthday I picked up a great black tote embroidered with "RN here to help" and an adorable Nurse purse/bag charm keychain. There are lots of stuff like that. I think the keychains are the best because they are really "in" right now and so cute. The silver bags actually open up. I bought one for myself that has a tiny chart charm attached. You could get these for less than $10.

Cookies are a great idea... I start holiday baking early and by the end of Dec, I usually have tons of cookies in the freezer. *(Bake them, and put them in the freezer as soon as they cool, and they stay super fresh!)
I've been doing cookies & home baked goodies for years ~ and people really look forward to it. Often times I stick a homemade CD in there too ... usually I package it up pretty well, and that makes all the difference...
Since it's all for fellow nsg students, it'd be cool to theme it up! You can tie some ribbons & seal it up with a pair of hemostats or band-aids? You've got plenty of time to get started!
