I had my school interview this morning and just as I got there, this girl was coming out of the interview room with about 2 inches of her belly on display. what's up with that? She had a couple of tatoos that were visible. Nothing againsts tat's, I have one myself, but I keep it covered for interviews. There were also a few people wearing jeans, tshirts and sneakers. I must say that this is the first time I have seen this. What about you guys?

I think of the poor patients they take care of that are having respiratory distress and then in walks Miss Perfume, how do the breathe, I was taught many years ago in RT school NO PERFUME think it should be part of the dress code in nursing school and in the work environment

Sorry, but no....For the 20-30 dollars she spent on the trendy belly shirt, she could have gone to Goodwill and bought a matching top and skirt for 10-20.
I totally agree.

In addition, there should never be a reason for someone to be unprepared or caught offguard about dress codes or any other aspects of interview etiquette. All they have to do is go to their *free* public library and search out books on interviewing. Many job centers also have free workshops on interviewing technique.

I think cigarette smoke is just as bad! When people smoke, YOU CAN TELL. I can smell it a mile away. Nurses will go out and puff one down, and they just reek when they get back. I know it's a habit (a bad one), but it smells terrible. I don't think people that smoke realize how bad it stinks.
