I had to run around like a chicken with my head cutoff to get my H.S. and college transcripts in on time, but everything was in on time to make the deadline on Monday.

The admissions counselor told me my file is "very competitive." I won't find out for 6-8 weeks though :o

I'm currently taking A&P I. The only other non-nursing courses I need are A&P II, Developmental Psych, Speech Communications, and a fluffy Ethics and Morals Philosophy core req. I can take the psych, speech, and phil through Distance Learning.

This is great because I have a 2 year old and I will have to work at least PT.

The program starts in January. The first semester is the only one where I will have the nursing course plus the science. I'll take the other 3 courses in the summer(s) and that will leave my fall and spring semesters with just nursing.

I'm so psyched. I think this will work for my family and me. Just have to keep from getting pregnant :nono:

Doing great in A&P, BTW. Can't wait to get past the Chem review though (never was a big fan of Chemistry, studying it that is).

Anyway, I'm babbling...

I just applied too. I won't find out if I made the cut until after Thanksgiving. I got rejected last semester so we'll see then. The only class I have left to take is Microbiology.

That's great! Let us know how it goes. I just applied for the AAS RN for the Spring semester at my local CC. My situation is similar to yours! I'm taking A&P I right now. I'm willing to take the other stuff with the nursing classes though. We don't find out till November.

I know that waiting is tough. I originally applied to my program the first of this year, only to find out in April that I didn't make it in for the summer term. So I applied again in May, and found out I was accepted the first week of August, for fall term. I'm in my 3rd week of nursing school and pretty much enjoying it all; just be prepared for all the reading assignments!
