You have to wait until March?? Yikes! When would you be starting the program, then? Fall 2004?

Philly area here... I go to Harcum, very small school and we are the very first nursing class to start. Good luck with everything :)

As long as i pass im pretty much in, though i won't get an OFFICIAL letter until March. then orientation is in April and i'll have to move to Pitt, by the end of july early august. (i live in ohio right now about 3.5 hrs away)

i'm plugging away at the pre-nursing review books as it is....just trying to brush up on my algebra mostly!

I'm a student in NH, but I just thought I'd say:

It's enough reason for me to move to Pittsburgh when I graduate!

I visited Pittsburgh over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The University of Pittsburgh campus is awesome!

Specializes in ICU, CM, Geriatrics, Management.

Tasha -- 90 minutes from Philly here.

A / P II next term, then clinicals in Sept.

Feel free to PM me if I can assist with anything.

When you get to Pittsburg remember to wear black and gold...

I'm a nursing student at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle it's around 40 miles north of Pittsburg.

Graduation is 5/21/04...hooray! my plans after that is a job near the warmer temperatures of the gulf coast of Texas.

Today in western PA the temperature is just ugly.

Pittsburg is a great city especially when someone else is driving.

 there are soooo many things for me to remember about PITT! (black and gold) guess i shouldn't mention that i'm a CLEVELAND BROWNS FAN!:p

i've heard ALOT of people say that driving there is horrid...uggghhh guess i had better get used to it!

Oh and if anyone is moving there or needs a roommate...I'm LOOKING...hee hee

thanks all...and nice to meet you!:D

I absolutely do not know how my son drives there. Truly I do not think of myself as a wimp but this is a place where I outright refuse to drive. Of course it could have something to do with the fact that my son decided to drive me up and down every steep incline like some sort of roller coaster ride. The lights are confusing because of the winding turning twisting roads. There are no straight roads and no one obeys the speed limits. Throw in some snow and black ice and voila! I'm outta there.

You should have no problem using the public transport. It's wonderful there.

i guess i better not tell mom or she'll have a fit! although i've driven through columbus, oh and cincinnatti, so maybe it won't be tooo bad?!
