Angels Among Us...

I am so happy I could cry! :)

I was really sweating whether or not I would be able to attend classes this fall due to financial reasons. I was out of work for over a year (the airline I was working for shut down operations) before finding a job last November (only making $8/hour, which isn't much...but at least it's something)...then my husband was out of work for 3-1/2 months due to having a tumor removed from his head...so finances have pretty much stunk for us for a few years now. I haven't been able to get any financial aid, due to the fact I already have a Bachelor Degree and I hadn't had enough school recently to be able to apply for scholorships.

Fall term tuition is due Sept. 5th. I was sweating over it because coming up with $370+ was not going to be easy for me. (Thankfully I go to one of the most inexpensive schools in the state).

Well, I was sitting here a work (I work for a friend I grew up with in his store) & his dad came in. I've gone to the same church as this family since I was a tot. Anyway, his dad was talking to me & I said something about not being sure if I was going to be able to go back to school this fall or not. Then ... He told me to give him my tuition bill & he'd take care of it for me!!!

OMG

I was floored.

He said that it's not a loan...it's a gift.

OMG

I'm so happy & still can't believe it. Of course I thanked him over & over again & will be sending him a nice card this week as well. Hmm...might bake him some cookies too. :D

That is great news. There truely are angels among us. Thank God for his many blessings.

Good story, it really looks like the man upstairs wants you to become a nurse. Repay the debt by the way you take care of your patients later. B.T. H

What a great story, thanks for sharing it! What a nice man he must have lots of faith in you! Work hard and pay it forward!!!!!!

God has truly blessed you! And this man who has given you this money will also be blessed for his kindness. Pray for God to continue to bless him and you. Congratulations!! When times get hard (studying, tests, clinicals, etc.), just remember that God has set this out for you and that He is with you through it all!!

Awwwwwww:) That is such a wonderful gift!

Best of luck to you in school!!:kiss

Thanks everyone! :) I am definately blessed....and I will someday "pay it forward" and help others who are in need. Definately a life lesson in this. :)

What a precious man...give him a big hug and thank you for me...now go and do the best you can with the gifts God has given you.

Best wishes.
