Does anyone have or know where I might find acronyms, analogies, tips, etc. that has helped you learn integumentary, urinary systems, fluid, electrolyte, or acid-base balance?
I would greatly appreciate any information and/or web sites that you may know of.
Thanks in advance for your help,
C:)

You might want to check out hte websites listed under the sticky "websites"
Also, I have found the greatest help to me has been
Memory Notebook of Nursing (Vol. 1 & 2 )
Here are the ISBN's for each of them
0-9628210-8-X
1-892155-01-X
These two books were created by nurses for nursing students! Each page is a different picture with mnemonics to help you learn!
I love them!! Each module we study has had at least one thing that I have studied from the memory books!!
Good luck!

I just wish I would have had a computer when I was in nursing school. Would have made things so much easier. But they did not even have much internet when I was in school. Boy have things changed in the past 17 years.

I have that program on my palm. I love it because I can study it while my kids are in TaeKwonDo or sitting in the parking lot at their school - very useful!
Disabled - I know what you mean, I started nursing school in 86 (before the internet), got married in 87 and dropped out, and now starting again it is sooooo much easier with computers!
All Hail Bill Gates! :roll (Just kidding)
