Emmy,

Hope you get great news on March 1st...I'm waiting to hear, too, if I've been accepted to my program...I should know by mid to late March. Good luck!

Good luck! I wish we had the program at my university! You'll do great! :)

mmm...I am waiting too. Let me hope that I will be accepted. 60 out of 500 applicants is really a shame.

I am waiting patiently.

I don't think ours is that bad. They accept 20 and I think that is as many as they take, or so I have heard for the accelerated program. This will be the second year that they are offering the accelerated program.

GL fifi and Ann, I'll be thinking of you guys too!!

Best of luck Emmy, I started our accelerated Diploma Nursing program in the fall, It's going great so far. This the 3rd year the school is offering it and they have a waiting list 3 years long. Makes you appreciate your spot. Look forward to seeing your post in March !!!:)

Best of luck, I'm applying now too for a 2nd degree program! I didn't think my GPA would be high enough for the accelerated program, but I have to get everything together so quickly now! Wasn't planning on applying for another year or so!

Ladies, Can you please say what accelerated programs you applying to i.e. the school? Also are you all 2nd degree/career students? Thanks.

The accelerated program at IUPUI in indianapolis is based on 2nd degree students. My first degree was in exercise science. I have worked as a pharmacy tech, exercise physiologist, certified nursing assistant, and transporter. I was just thinking this would be a good career step in the right direction. Hopefully, my GPA will be good enough too!!!

My program is offered at Red River College (joint with University of Manitoba) It is a 25 month course (yes we go all summer). It is called the DNA program Diploma Nursing Accelerated. Hope that helps

I'm looking at 2nd degree programs at Thomas JEfferson in Philadelphia, PA and University of Delaware (MY ALMAMATER!). Also has an accelerated program. I'm looking to go the full-time two year route. I was a pre-med chem major in college till my soph year when I switched to business/economics to get out in 4 years. I'm going back to my science roots! I'm not liking banking :(

I'm applying to Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland, Baltimore, for their accelerated BSN programs. I have a B.S. in Environmental science from 1997.
