Day, evening, or night?
haha..as if you didn't know them..
and why you picked it.
I'm starting my job in evening shift because I'm a night-owl and a student. But I can't exactly work nights and then get up in two hours for class :lol2:

Days!! I have worked both and days are better for my body, I learn the most since it seems most changes occur on day shift and the day goes by super fast with all the families around and people to talk to!

Any shift as long as I function at my best while taking care of clients.

I would gladly take any 12 hour shift....I WANT 12s!!!! I work psych right now and I'm stuck with 8 hr shifts..I have worked days, evenings, and nights..and they all comparably stink! When oh when will psych evolve into 12 hour shifts..if not soon I may go back to med/surg! Only working 3 shifts a week is one of the biggest perks of nursing, in my opinion. My favorite was 3 consecutive nights, but like I said I'd take ANY 12 hour shift!

I love my day shift. I enjoy the chaos and interactions with all the different depts I have a lot of respect for the night shift cause they usually work with less staff and you wold think patients sleep at night but they are usually up and more disoriented!!

I like the 2 - 10 shift, because I hate getting up at 5.
