I have checked Lab Online - no result found.
What is SBS? (with Hb, CBC, serum electrrolytes, urinalysis, FBS in am)
This is a hypothetical client with diabetes and kidney malfunction.
thanks

I still can't find anything
and I went into the lab to ask the staff
and she said she didn't know what SBS is.

I'd say serum blood sugar, as opposed to a fingerstick.
what about serum bacteriostatic activity (I've been seeing that with SBS)?

I believe I'd make an incident report (hypothetical one) and say non standard abbreviation and (hypothetical ) doctor notified that test cannot be identified.
yes, I was thinking that this is an item that will require clarification from
the doctor (hypothetical)
