Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hi everyone, I just have a question. I'm a new LPN, graduated last summer and passed my boards last October. Anyway here's the issue. I'm pretty much on good terms with the nurse recruiter at my old job. We've spoken a couple of times and spoke yesterday. She emailed/forwarded my resume to one of the units nurse managers back in December. She told me this yesterday and found it to be odd that I wasn't contacted. She forwarded my resume to another unit's nurse manager along with an email.

I didn't press the fact last time because it was the end of the year and the fact that at this hospital hiring doesn't pick back up until after the new year. Along with the fact that I didn't want to come across as being to pushy. I don't want to fall through the cracks again. I guess I just want to know, would it seem pushy if I paid the nurse manager of the unit a visit? The nurse recruiter is extremely busy. She's always as helpful as she can be, when I get her on the phone. Now getting her on the phone is a whole other story, lol

I think it would be inappropriate to just show up. Perhaps a follow up email would be better.

Pay a visit to the recruiter.

Good luck.

I won't be able to get the manager's email in this instance. And I feel really bad calling and calling the nurse recruiter, like I said she's extremely busy and makes it known. I've left messages for her, but I only speak with her if I happen to call and get her on the phone. In any matter I thank you both for your responses:)
