I have a question for all of you who work weekend options by whatever name is used. Have you found difficulties with the regular full-time staff regarding the differences in pay or when, on occasion, they have had to cover the weekend for the optioner to get their scheduled 2 weekends off?

Did you work your way up to the "Baylor Plan" option or is it available to new grad hires? Seems perfect while I continue my schooling down the road? Thks.

I am an LVN who works the weekend option at the facility where I am employed. Around here, it is better known as the 'Baylor Plan'. I work the two 16-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and get paid for 40 hours while having Monday through Friday off. Pay rates are not negotiable at my place of employment.
