what might be this tablet that is described as turquoise and triangular shape (with curved sides)

I don't have a CPS book with the pages of pills by colour

I do have access to eCPS.

Any ideas how I could find the name of this antidepressant?

thanks

I believe Xanax XR extended release (3mg) pills are green and triangular shaped, but I don't know if I would call them turquoise. Also they're an anxiolytic, not an anti-depressant. Not sure if this helps, but it's worth a shot!

Tranxene is a blue triangle shaped pill. Antianxiety.. really old drug

thanks, I'll check these

You might also check out www.drugs.com . They have a pill identifier page as well as a discussion forum devoted to pill identification.

The 3 mg tab might fit your description although I think it's more of a blue. Are there any markings, letters, or numbers on it?

don't know about markings, letters, etc on the tablet because the only description that I have is that it is turquoise, triangular with sort of curved sides

(thanks for the links - these are really helpful)

the retired doctor who was trying to remember this pill - has today said that it is "dexamyl"

so I've looked up dexamyl on the internet, because I couldn't find it in the eCPS

it is described as a combination of dextroamphetamine and amobarbital, so it is both a stimulant and a depressant.

other sources said it is no longer available

that it is for depression with individuals who are verbally inhibited
