another nurse i know mentioned one of her nurse friends in another facility had a rash on her face and , since it was the days of open med carts, grabbed what she thought was a tube of a and d ointment and proceeded to rub it on her face...trouble was this pint sized nurse had inadvertantly grabbed a tube of nitropaste and while talking to her friends at the desk, obviously didn't notice and was immediately passed out in front of all of them...she was fine, but i can imagine there are more such nurse stories out there...care to share????

We had a middle aged schizophrenic guy in the LTC years ago-he had an enema fetish and also used to maturbate until he chafed and bled.....He used to go to the bathroom and chant-Oh oh nurse,oh oh nurse, girls and enemas ...girls and enemas...etc....while doing his...thing..He would often interject various staff member's names into the chant-male and female...Oh nurse Oh nurse-Gail-give me an enema....Bill- I need an enema.....I can't here a patient call "Oh,nurse" without thinking of him....:chuckle
