Some hospitals do not offer workmans comp. Legal?

Your's is a pretty open ended question. It's like the connundrum:

Most of the states cover... Most of the employees ...Most of the time BUT........Some of the states cover Some of the employees Some of the time

Read the above TOTALLY COMMERCIAL SITE IN WHICH I HAVE *NO* INTEREST WHATSOEVER.

Big corporate hospitals may have their own coverage but beware. They do this to get out of liability. They can do what they want with an injured nurse...deny the claim, run them off, discredit them... and there is no recourse except to sue...and many attorneys don't want to go up against the big healthcare giants...'deep pockets' theory.

I am still appealing a work injury from 3 years ago. They refused to pay for it because I had a fender bender following it altho it was not a factor. They just used it to wiggle out of paying. My health insurer also refused to pay for it because my chart said 'work injury'.

So...hadda put the 8K on credit cards to get treatment.. I'm finally back to work by the grace of God... so I can start paying bills but it's been a rough few years.

Just one story...I know there are others here who can tell worse stories than mine. (((HUGS))) to all!
