Paranoid about references

Had an interview today and got hired on the spot. However, I'm so paranoid about references. I've been on a few interviews where the employers asked for letters from managers, surveys, sent questionaires and etc. I'm only worried about one previous manager, her and I did not see eye to eye and I'm scared she'll give a poor recommendation.

Well, it is in Gods' hands now. If this job is meant to be then it will be.

Just had to let that out. Anyone else ever got hired on the spot but worried about references and how it would affect job offer?

Boy do I know how you feel, I fortunately was able to substitute preceptors for managers, whew...also all if the managers walked out do that helped me too.

Another thing I'm worried about is that I just realized I should have not omitted my ER job where I worked for about a month. If they find out, I'm completly doomed

So I had an interview with HH this week. Although it was sketchy, it was legit... Just .... Tiny? Anyways, I only have one job that was medically related so I asked if she wanted me to fill out this last sheet which was basically a questionnaire that looked like it would be sent to the employers... She told me to just put an instructor's name from my school, that he had to have that in my file, but she wasn't going to send it because she can't... By law, they can only call previous employer to verify your length of employment, nothing else. No recommendations.
