More than likely, yes. The definition of "critical care" experience can be rather nebulous from place to place however.

You need a BSN or equiv. (4 year degree)

Need to have your RN

Most schools require ICU or equiv.

Most schools require a gpa of 3.0/3.5 or better

The program runs in the neighborhood of 2.5 years to 3.5 years (approx)

All schools will have a different price tag. The one school that I am familiar with is in the ballpark of $65,000.

There is a lot of info out there. As someone here has mentioned you can check out the crna forum. Also you can google it and find out tons more.

This is your grade point average (GPA). (4.0 = A, 3.0 = B, 2.0 = C, and so on) Are you currently working and living in the United States?

Thank you for your response.I am working as RN in CVOR and living in USA.In india they are calculating percentage ,so i dont know how can i calculate my GPA.Is there any formula for that?Once again thank you

It varies; however, above a 90% is generally considered an A or a 4.0. Some schools require 92-93% to be granted an A.

Thank you so much.I have learned many things from this all nurses.com being a new comer.Will they calculate final year result or all four year result,because we had exams every year.

Typically, a cumulative GPA. You need to check with the programs however, as your foreign education may be a potential issue.

Your GPA is calculated by dividing your total number of grade points by the total number of units attempted.

Being a foreign graduate, you may need to have your transcripts evaluated and certified by a domestic agency.

Your best bet is to contact the programs that you're interested in.
