New Onset Diabetes

My son was sick over Christmas, he thought he had the flu, ended up being admitted with DKA. It was quite a shock as we did not know he was a diabetic. So far he is doing well with the injections.

I am just wondering if anyone has heard of the Joslin Diabetes Center and if so would you recommend it? Thanks for your imput.

I know nothing of the clinic, sorry.

I did want to wish you and yours the best as you all deal with these changes. Hope your son is soon feeling better, and is able to learn to care for his condition.
