Brain fart time... 1 lb = 1 lb or 1 kg?
I was reviewing my notes today for the exam I have this morning and it appears I have contradicted myself more than once. Haha.
Thanks

Are you asking for the conversion from lb to kg? If so its 2.2lbs = 1k
but in your defense yes 1lb DOES equal 1lb LOL

I think you are asking about fluid loss, if so, my notes say 1 L of fluid loss=1kg of weight loss.

This is usually used when you're diuresing a pt. So if they drop 3 kg's then they've diuresed 3 L
