have you ever had to show the Nursing Board proof you've obtained the CEU's?

I love learning. I get a lot more CEU's than my state requires. But I'm just curious if anyone's been told to show their CEU's to the Nursing Board.

I have not been asked but I know they check a certain % each year.

Have not been asked myself, but I had a friend of a co-worker who was....AND she didn't have them! She lied when she renewed her license. She was put on probation and not allowed to work for a period of time (my co-worker couldn't remember how long).

When you renew by mail you have to send the copies of your CEU certificates in KS. If you do it by internet, you just have to send it in if you are one of the audits. :)
