ok, here's a refresher of whats been going on at this job.

Well, when i gave the two weeks notice, the DON was like i don't want you to go and i'm going to miss you and so on and ask me to work something out. I told her i can do every other weekend 3rd shift. Well then the next morning i told her i couldn't do it (i called) then we had a meeting the next day and she started again and i told her its too difficult with school and scheduling so then we agreed to try the every other weekend but now its just too much and all the feelings are coming back. I wrote the notice for the 19th to the 3rd of June. I got a prn job but not much hours, i have to wait 90 days until i can move into a permanent position. I wanted to work at my 1st job until the 90 days. But sometimes its too much. The nurses are bad and always writing cnas up for nothing and i don't want anything on my certificate. Any advice? do you think i should quit or work every other weekend until the 90 days?

You may want to stay on for 90 days just in case, but I would tell your DON that you still plan on leaving. I recently had to do the same thing because my former employer really needs the help but I don't plan on staying on prn but a few months.

I want to leave this job. I have a pen jobb and the environment is much better. But its only pen. So I was thinking of working my current job on weekends. Until 90 days so I can go from pen to part time at my new job. But my current jobjust really turns my stomach. So I don't know if I should leave altogether at my current job and just work pen at my new job.

Only you can make that decision, but don't let others (DON) manipulate you into doing something you don't really want to do.

There must be a reason why you gave a two week notice in the first place.

Unless that additional income is absolutely essential, I think the answer can be found in your words above.

Thanks its just she has a really bad attitude and she's probably going to get angry with all this back and forth. I'm so ready to just be done.
