I think i love my job!!

Nurses General Nursing

I have been working at my rehab facility for 3 days now as a brand new CNA. I can get a little stressful at times, but within those few days, I have really gotten along with a few pts, some even told the charge that I'll be great. I love this job, poop doesn't even really bother me like I thought it would, the only thing I'm real shakey on is changing and or emptying the colostomy bag. I work 7a to 3p shift, today was the last day of orientation and one of the girls went home, so it was time to woman up and be on my own. I think I did pretty good. Hopefully I see myself with this company for many years to come!!

It's really refreshing to read some good, happy stories!! Congrats :heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat

Good for you. Don't lose that positive attitude.

Thats awesome!! A smile on your face and a good attitude and treating all your pts like your own family and you will be valued and loved by the nurses and the pts alike. A great CNA is worth their weight in gold--trust me! I think all the nurses here would agree. So keep up the good work!!!
