Having worked ortho for several years i should know the answer to this, and if a patient asked me i wouldn't have to think twice about it, but i'm drawing a blank. I think i have torn my rotator cuff in my left shoulder, i pooped it out being stupid with the dog, but i manged to get it back in (wan't totally out) that was about a month ago, i can deal with the pain, and the only reason i would consider having it done is because i lost about 30 yards off my drive and my irons are coming up about 10 yars short, ie my golf game has $hit the bed. Question is how log till i can play again if i get it scoped? BTW doesn't realy hurt when i play, or later that day but the next days is a little rough.

Golf is not just a sport... its a lifestyle...

And-- Dan-- I'm gonna start PT for you guess what--

You got it...

Rotator cuff injury...

xcept-- I hurt it at work... Workers comp.

and-- light duty... so i'll blow out my elbows with the charts...(see the reasonings?)

Feel better.

Enough is enough, It's not any better, or worse, so i made and appt with my pmd for wensday evening, not so much myshoulder but right in the humerus, down to the elbow. guess we'll find out what it is

Ok, now I'm guesing bursitis/tendonitis...the humerous is where my arm kills when the 'itises' kick in...could be a repetive motion thing

Doc thinks it's a muscle pull with a tear, gave me some exersises to do (which i probably won't), he used to be a physical therapist, and some Naporsin, if no reliefe in 10 days off for films and to an orthopod.
