How will Obama's health care plan affect registered nurses?

Being that Obama is now the democratice candidate for the presidency and his chances of wining are pretty good... how will his plan affect nurses?

Working Conditions? Salary?

"there would required federal reporting on medical mistakes."

And just how are we to prevent the same errors from happening over and over again? Just sweep them under the rug like we do now???? Let everyone learn from our mistakes!!!!

All we can do is assume. Everything thats happening on our economy is theoretically wrong.

I have reservations about both presidential candidates. Some thoughts on Obama...he is an extremely good speaker and seems to many times try to tell the public what we want to hear. To me, he seems to have a "silver tongue," which is frightening. Think about it, what does the bible say about the coming of the antichrist? This is a thought I've pondered a few times. Maybe I won't vote republican or democratic.

Senator Obama was just in St. Louis and shadowed a nurse at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Here is a link to the website and video as to what he has to say:

I think it is absurd to not vote for someone just because it is assumed that he/she will not wear a flag of his country. It's thoughts like that put G.W. Bush in the White House for the past two terms, and what good has that done our country?? There have been many published reports of Obama showing a symbol of pride for his country, but I for one don't put much substance on symbols, I look more at action. If Osama Bin Laden wore the American Flag, would you change your opinion of him?? Absurd.

Compared to Bush and company, anyone looks like a great speaker.

I wonder if people at the time thought Kennedy or FDR or even beloved conservative icon Reagan were the antichrist due to their talented public speaking abilities.

I wouldn't worry too much about him being the antichrist considering the Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world in 2012 anyways. His re-election campaign would be moot!

Oh dear, I disagree with Obama on just about every far-left idea that he has but I really cringe at the "anti-Christ" reference.

Please, no.

It's not only the pin though..there was that lovely little comment his wife made ie "this is the first time she can be proud of America". Yes, I know Obama didn't say it but you have to wonder if he shares her feelings on this issue. I know he disassociated himself from that wacko Wright, but he didn't do it right away, did he? Only after he was starting to catch heat.

And I KNOW I'll get flamed for saying this but I have talked to several people who are voting for him because they feel they'll be making part of history. This is stupid in my opinion and not any better than the pin reason.(which I provided as one example). Sure, the guy has charisma but many people had charisma throughout history, and not all of them were good leaders(some were downright evil). I think he IS elitist, no matter what backpedaling he did after his comment regarding bitter working class people.

But, we are all entitled to vote for who we want and despite the fact that some people may not like my reasons for disliking Obama, they are what they are.

my opinion of obama does not have anything to do with whether or not he wears a pin and no i do not believe that he is the anti-christ but this is a quirky man, i don't like the company he keeps esp the preachers, his wife thinks that all americans are 'mean' he has not said anything about disagreeing with her
