This is my first time posting here. I've read through a few posts the last few days. I think this is a great message board for nurses and students to vent as well as talk about issues they are dealing with. I am a CNA right now, slowly working my way to a BSN. I will finish my LPN Dec 2004, then will take a 1 year LPN to RN bridge class (it's a weekend course so I can work as an LPN during the week). Then I plan to take classes one at a time to get my BSN somewhere down the line. I know, the DON at my school said "you're taking the LONG way", but I have a family and not much money so I think it will work better for me this way.I already have an associate's degree in Science so hopefully it won't take too long. I have been working in healthcare for 5 years as a phlebotomist, medical assistant and CNA. I'm working at a home health agency now. I have two beautiful little girls. I guess that's about it. Thanks to anyone who's read this. Tonya
