All,
I was sent a message about what SEARS is doing for their reserve employees who were deployed.
That message was verified by Sears.
Sears pays those people the difference in pay from what they receive from the government so they are able to keep their current pay scale. The corporation is also retaining all benefits, including family health insurance for them.
The only federal requirement is that the employer keeps a job open for them when they return. They usually start back at the bottom of the pay scale.
I say, "THREE CHEERS FOR SEARS!":)

Fortunately, a number of companies do this. Unfortunately, a lot more do not.
