And if you do get the position, you could then tell your PRN job that you need to work alternate shifts--as I would not compromise a full time position for a PRN position.

HI there, I am a nurse in Dialysis at Fresenius and I will tell you, now, that the classes WILL interfere MAJORLY with your having any job outside this. The classes typically run Mon-Fri from 8 to 5 and for several weeks. THEN there is training on the floor, whereby you will follow a preceptor technician on his/her schedule, typically 4 or 5 days a week for 10 or 12 hours each day, again for several weeks. If your technician works days, you will have to plan to be there by 4-4:30 am (or earlier) to start work; techs typically start an hour or more before the doors open, preparing machines and on packs for their patients. If your preceptor technician is opening the clinic (meaning, getting the water room ready), plan to be there at 3:30 am or earlier.

If your preceptor tech works evenings, typically, you will start at about 1:30 or 2pm and work til 11pm (or later if he/she is "closer").

The whole training and preceptorship process will take at least 3-4 months or more.

If you want this job, you have to plan on taking the time to attend the training classes and preceptorship, meaning your other job will have to do without you during the week, and some Saturdays, (we typically work every other Saturday). The only day you will be able to count on reliably to work will be Sunday.

Thank you for your response.I figured it would be alot of work but I wasnt for sure if it was 5 days a week or not.Luckily the present job is PRN so its cool for me to jumo in there on the weekends here and there. The FA assured me that she or the recruiter would call by last friday or today good or bad news and i still havent heard feom either. Im really anxious ro know if I even got the job but prayer works so thats what im doing.One last questiin is the training paid?
