BSN Pay in Florida

Hey everyone! I will be graduating in 2 years with my BSN degree and I would like to have an idea of the salary new graduates earn in Florida per hour/year. I was thinking of moving out of state due to the low wage most nurses make here compared to other states such as California (although I do recognize that the cost of living there is much higher). What do you guys recommend? I'm currently in Miami, are other parts of Florida any better?

I applied in Tallahassee in 2014 as a BSN with 1 year of experience and I was offered around $21/hr with a $0.50 differential for my BSN and another $0.75 for my specialty certification. Not even remotely worth it.

Be cognizant that Florida nursing pay rates are generally 20 percent lower than the national average because people willingly accept what is offered in exchange for a desirable location. You know the saying, "Florida is where you're paid in sunshine."

I think it is also dependent on where in Florida you are looking. I have heard from numerous people that South Florida (Miami area in particular) pays poorly. North Florida (Jacksonville area...where I am) will pay a new grad BSN around $25/hr in an acute care setting.
