Hello, I submitted my application for Fall cohort this year. My APU representative told me that Nursing Department will not start the review process of the applicants until May cohort starts. It's already the middle of May and still hasn't heard anything from them. I'm just wondering if any of you are in the situation as I am?

Hi I also submitted my application for Fall 17 or Spring 18. Since I still have Micro to finish,the only thing that works in my favor is that I am taking it online at University College through APU so it only takes 2 months and I will be finished at the end of August. I am pretty sure that I will not get into the fall cohort but probably be placed in the Jan cohort. My admin rep told me that they begin reviewing applications this month and we should here from them toward the end of the month about an interview. I will keep you updated on what happens for me, please do the same.

I have read a few other threads and noticed that some people are already taking their compentency exam this month for the fall cohort. I just really hope I get into the Jan cohort I would be a little disappointed if they had me wait till May 2018. I guess it's all in Gods timing and he sees things that I can not, maybe I'll need the time to prepare.

Hi KikkaBugg,

I had my interview two days ago and I think it went really well. The program manager told me they will be having an upcoming admission meeting but never told me when I will be hearing from them. However, I asked her straight up if fall semester is full and she confirmed that it is. Apparently, applicants that weren't able to get in for May cohort got prioritized.

Will let you know for any updates.

I didn't get an interview, I'm guessing because I still have microbiology left so it's safe to say that I'll probably get in May 2018. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't disappointed that I didn't get an interview. I guess I'll just have to be patient again and trust the process. I'm happy for you I hope you get in for January.

Hello, you made mention of university college in one of your comments. I'm about to take organic biochem in this school. Any advise about this school please.

I was also disappointed when I found out that fall semester is already full. Same as most people, I didn't want any delays but in the end I always see the positive side on things. Thank you and I wish you the same as well. í ½í¸Š

They opened up some more interview dates and times so I have mine today at 3:30. To say I am excited is an understatement, I for sure thought I was going to have to wait until the end of the year to interview. I'm just praying I do well and they find me qualified.

Hello, did you complete all your prerequisites before applying to the program or you had pending class before you applied? Also, did you have to take organic-chem? If so, which school did you take it please.

I applied with 1 pending prerequisites. I'm currently taking Microbiology and I'll finish next month. I took O-Chem at University College online .

Yeah that's fine. I live in Rancho. My email is [email protected] the class was ok it was a little hard. The labs weren't too bad test were a bit much but you can take them multiple times so that helps.

Hello, how was the last interview? I got an email from the program manager earlier today. I'm scheduled for the competency exam on july 31.
